You are the last passengers left aboard the Rocky Mountain Zephyr. The other passengers and crew have mysteriously vanished and the train is barreling down the track at an alarming rate of speed. In one hour, the train will reach High Point Curve. A train going that fast will surely jump the rails and plummet down the cliff. You must make your way to the locomotive cab and figure out how to stop the train before it gets there.
Loved it! We did the Rocky Mountain Zephyr as a family (kids 10 and 7). Both kids figured some clues out themselves and could contribute to puzzles, and there were plenty for the adults as well. It's a very well done room. We all want to go back and try the mine!

Such a fun time in the Zephyr room. Good variety of interesting puzzles, not just unlocking locks. Will definitely be back to try other rooms. Highly recommend.

I had an extremely positive experience playing Rocky Mountain Zephyr at Golden Puzzle Room. The challenge, set aboard a runaway train in the Colorado Rockies, was attractively staged and featured a good combination of electronic installations and innovative low-tech puzzles. One design element of this room that was especially impressive was the range of difficulty. Some of the puzzles were targeted to advanced/seasoned solvers and others, made available early on, were more kid/novice-friendly. This was an appealing alternative to escape room businesses that shoot for a suite of rooms each with its own uniform level of difficulty. GPR owners Jason and Arwen were friendly and attentive and offered to be as helpful with walkie-talkie hints as our team requested. Our team of five had a great time!
